How much time do I have to decide on a health plan?

You have up to 60 days from the first day of your StretchDollar ICHRA health plan start date to accept the benefit and enroll in a health plan. Why a specific time period? Being offered an ICHRA health benefit is a type of qualifying life event, which opens up a special enrollment period and gives you a 60-day window to shop for a health plan. If you miss this time period, you'll have to wait until the next general open enrollment period — Nov 1 - Jan 16.
