I already have a marketplace plan. Do I need to re-shop?

That’s great news — if you already have a Marketplace plan, you do not need to shop for a new one. You can keep your existing plan and use it with your ICHRA benefits.

That said, you can shop if you’d like to explore other options. Being offered an ICHRA is considered a qualifying life event, which opens a Special Enrollment Period and gives you the opportunity to select a new Marketplace plan when it's not open enrollment. Your enrollment period is 60 days from your start date.

If you’d prefer to keep your current plan, log in to your Benefits Portal and start your enrollment. On the shopping page, click "I already enrolled in a plan", then "I purchased a marketplace plan". Then upload proof of your existing coverage and complete your auto-reimbursement request.

Once your administrator reviews and approves your request, you’ll be all set! Reimbursements are paid around the 1st of each month for the rest of the plan year.

Already enrolled for 2026 and getting ready for 2027? You don’t need a new plan, but you do need to do your 2027 enrollment in StretchDollar and submit 2027 proof of coverage, because 2026 auto-reimbursements end in December.
